Chongqing and Chengdu will be connected by high-speed rail in 50 minutes in the future.  It is reported that the whole length of chengdu-Chongqing-Zhong high-speed railway is about 292 kilometers, 102 kilometers in Chongqing and 190 kilometers in Sichuan province. The line leads west from Chongqing North Railway Station, passes through Zhongliang Mountain, enters Sichuan Province through Science City, Tongliang, Dazu Stone Carvings, and enters Chengdu Station through Anyue, Lezhi, and Jianzhou New Town.  The design speed of the whole line is 350 km/h, and the tunnel accounts for 85%. There are 8 stations in total, 4 stations in Sichuan and Chongqing respectively.  In addition to the starting and ending stations, 6 new stations have been built, and 3 new stations have been built in Chongqing, which are Chongqing Science City Station, Tongliang Station and Dazu Stone Carvings Station.  

The chengdu-Chongqing middle line high-speed railway will be the most straight railway of the chengdu-Chongqing development axis of the Shuangcheng Economic circle, directly connecting the two polar cores of The Shuangcheng economic circle, Chongqing and Chengdu, promoting the integration of the Shuangcheng economic circle, and realizing the access between Chengdu-Chongqing within one hour.  At the same time, the chengdu-chongqing high-speed rail will be of the midline and planning of chongqing proper high-speed connected, is an important part of main high-speed along the river, makes the formation of the Yangtze river economic belt direction of more than 350 km/h high-speed corridors, which can realize the twins economic circle and the Yangtze river delta urban agglomeration, high-speed direct realization of shuangcheng economic circle, 4 hours to wuhan to Shanghai 7 hours.  By then, it will connect the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River Delta, supporting the construction of the Yangtze Economic Belt.  The chongqing-Wanzhou-Hebei and Zhengzhou-Wanzhou-Hebei high-speed railways connect the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration and the Central Plains urban agglomeration to the north and speed up the north-south connection in the western region.  

Currently, it takes 10 hours and 23 minutes to travel from Chongqing to Shanghai by high-speed train.  Some netizens have predicted that the time between Chongqing and Shanghai will be reduced to less than six hours, which means that the journey from Chongqing to Shanghai will be shortened by more than four hours by high-speed rail.

Channel 2: Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed Railway, 308km in length, 134km in Chongqing, the whole operation time is 1 hour.  

Channel 3: Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway - inner from Luzhou-Chengziyi intercity, with a total length of 385 kilometers, 84 kilometers in Chongqing, with a total operation time of 1.4 hours.  

Northwest direction: chongqing to Lanzhou has 1 passage  

The Lanzhou-Chongqing high-speed railway, with a total length of 800 kilometers and 130 kilometers in Chongqing, will take 2.5 hours to complete.  

North: Chongqing to Xi 'an there are two channels

The Chongqing-Zheng high-speed railway, with a total length of 1,065 kilometers, covers 429 kilometers in Chongqing, and takes 3.7 hours to complete.  

Eastward: There are 3 passages from Chongqing to Wuhan  

Channel 1: Chongqing-Wanzhou-Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway to Xiangyang-Wuhan High-speed Railway from Xiangyang to Wuhan, with a total length of 957 kilometers and a section of 429 kilometers in Chongqing, with a total operation time of 3.5 hours.  

Channel 2: Chongqing-Wanwan High-speed Railway - Zhengzhou-Wanzhou High-speed Railway connection line from Xingshan to Yichang to Zhengzhou-Wanwan High-speed Railway - Han-Yi High-speed Railway, with a total length of 899 km and a section of 434 km in Chongqing, with a total operation time of 2.9 hours.  

Channel 3: Chongqing-Yi High-speed Railway (via Shizhu and Lichuan)- Han-Yi High-speed railway, with a total length of 816 km, and a section of 193 km in Chongqing, with a total operation time of 2.6 hours.

Channel 1: Chongqing-Hunan High-speed Railway, from Chongqing to Qianjiang-Qianzhou-Zhangzhou-Changyi high-speed railway, with a total length of 758 kilometers, 288 kilometers in Chongqing, and 3.2 hours in operation.  

Channel 2: Chongqing-Hunan High speed railway: Chongqing to Qianjiang - Qianjiang to Jishou high Speed railway - Jishou to Yiyang high Speed railway - Changyi high Speed railway Yiyang to Changsha, with a total length of 883 kilometers, 418 kilometers in Chongqing, the whole operation time is 2.8 hours.

Two channels from Chongqing to Nanning:  

Channel 1: Chongqing-Guizhou Railway - Nanjing-Guizhou High-speed Railway, with a total length of 827 km and a section of 115 km in Chongqing, with a total operation time of 3.5 hours.  

Channel 2: Chongqing-Guizhou High-speed Railway -- Nanjing-Guizhou High-speed Railway, with a total length of 865 kilometers and a section of 105 kilometers in Chongqing. The whole operation time is 2.8 hours.  

Southwest direction: chongqing to Kunming has 1 passage  

The Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway, with a total length of 699 kilometers and 84 kilometers in Chongqing, lasts 2.2 hours.  

At present, Chongqing has built chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway, Chongqing-Wan-city intercity railway, Chong-Sui railway, Chongqing-Li Railway, Chongqing-Guizhou Railway and Zhang-chang Railway, totaling 839 kilometers.  A total of 929 kilometers of high-speed railway are under construction, and 846 kilometers of high-speed railway are under preliminary construction.
